Attending the groundbreaking ceremony, DAOU DC construction team manager Michael Suh said the 40 MW facility will help support the development of the region’s DC cluster and promote the Jukjeon as a leading hub for tech and innovation. The development will be delivered in two phases, with the first 20MW operational by Q4 2026

The DAOU Data Center, designed by Gansam Architects & Partners and constructed by POSCO E&C, will be completed by the end of 2026 after approximately 30 months of construction. KIWOOM E&S and Hanmi Global are participating as the PM and CM, respectively. They have decided to directly handle the planning, design, investment, construction, and operation of their first hyperscale data center. To achieve this, they have hired experts with experience in data centers across architecture, mechanical, and electrical fields.
OUR first hyperscale data center, with a 40MW 2N power utility supply, a maximum IT load of 26MW, and the ability to facilitate high-density, heavy-load servers, will have Tier III redundancy.
